Seeing a Chiropractor in Ballarat from Geelong

Many patients travel from Geelong to see us at KAW Chiropractic. Some have family in Ballarat, some used to live here, and some come up the Midland Highway for work or a day trip. Whatever brings you, we want your first visit to be clear and unhurried. Here's what to expect.

Your first appointment, step by step

  1. Before you arrive. Book online at any hour, or call us during clinic hours on (03) 5339 4493. We'll ask for some basic details so we can make good use of your time.
  2. History. Your chiropractor will ask about your current complaint, when it started, what makes it better or worse, and your general health.
  3. Assessment. This may include posture, movement, orthopaedic and neurological checks relevant to your complaint.
  4. Explanation. We'll explain what we've found in plain language, talk through options, and let you know whether chiropractic care may help. You can ask questions and decide what's right for you.
  5. Care and next steps. If you're happy to go ahead, we'll talk about care and any follow-up that suits your schedule.

Timing your trip from Geelong

Our weekday hours are split into two sessions, 8am–12pm and 2pm–6pm, with a break in the middle of the day. Keep this in mind when you plan your departure. If you'd like a free afternoon in Ballarat, a morning appointment works well. If you're coming after work, an afternoon slot may suit you better. Saturdays run 8am–12pm.

Locally owned, chiropractic only

KAW Chiropractic is locally owned in Ballarat and focuses on chiropractic care. We'll be clear about what we can help with, and we'll suggest a referral if something is outside our scope.

Costs and health funds

New patients can take up our $49 new patient offer. T&Cs apply. If your extras cover includes chiropractic, you can claim a rebate from your fund yourself.
