Chiropractic Care for Ararat and District Patients
Many patients travel from Ararat to see us at KAW Chiropractic, coming in along the Western Highway to our clinic in Alfredton, on Ballarat's western side. A lot of our Ararat-area patients work on farms, in trades or in other physical jobs, so we try to make appointments fit around a working week rather than the other way round.
Fitting appointments around work on the land
Farm and seasonal work doesn't always follow a set timetable. That's why our hours are split across the day and the week:
- Weekday mornings: 8am–12pm
- Weekday afternoons: 2pm–6pm
- Saturday mornings: 8am–12pm
Online booking is available 24/7, so you can book at night once the day's work is done. If plans change, call us on (03) 5339 4493 during clinic hours.
Complaints we commonly assess
People who do physical work often come to us with concerns about the lower back, neck, shoulders or hips, sometimes related to lifting, bending or long hours on machinery. We assess and treat musculoskeletal complaints like these. At your first visit we'll take a full history and do an assessment, then explain whether chiropractic care may help. If your symptoms need investigation or care from another practitioner, we'll tell you.
Practical advice for the visit
Wear clothing you can move in comfortably. If you have recent scans or reports related to your complaint, bring them along. We have free parking at the clinic, so there's no need to hunt for a park in town. More tips are on our Travelling to see us page.
